Thank you for reporting your damaged mailbox. The Bureau of Highways has investigated your concern and determined that there was no physical contact between the County’s snow removal equipment and the mailbox, mailbox post or associated item. Please note that if the damage occurs as a result of the weight or impact of snow and ice being moved by a County equipment but there has been no direct physical contact with the mailbox or associated item, the County will not assume responsibility for the cost of repair or replacement of the mailbox.
