Description
the tenant has been running airbnb type lodging business for about two years as soon as they moved in. I filed a complaint over a year ago and, upon city's investigation, they pulled off airbnb and other ads. But the activities have never stopped and even escalated. Now there are average 7-8 cars, 1-2 motorcycles and multiple uber dropoff and pickups every day. Cars often parked and left in the middle of night with young men and women in and out. I have talked to neighbors and we are all concerned about the safety and parking congestions in this supposedly quiet cul de sac area. The tenant's self claim that they only host visiting friends are total BS and we are all willing to confront them directly if necessary. Let us know if you need further evidence, thank you.

I am truly disappointed with the city's lack of response and attention to this issue.

I also live on Goldhunter Court, and I understand 119 Goldhunter is owned by an absentee landlord who is unavailable and disengaged from the community and the neighbors.
Tenants of 119 Goldhunter frequently have 4 cars 2 deep parked in their driveway, in addition to at least 2 more cars spilling out into the streets.
One negative impact is parking and it is exacerbated because the house sits at the end of a culdesac and we already, by design, have very limited parking.
Our next door neighbor couldn't safely park in her driveway because some of the tenants were partially blocking her driveway (thank you FCPD for coming out to investigate last month).
We observed that some of the transients have out of state license plates.
Additionally, during garbage pickup days, we ( long-time, tax-paying, FC residents) frequently do not have space in front of our curb to set out our 3 Recology bins because transient cars are parked in front of our homes!
If we have a 2-dog limit in FC, isn't there an ordinance of what constitutes a reasonable amount of cars for residents/house, especially when it negatively impacts a community?
What will it take for FC to investigate and issue a cease & desist on this business being run w/o a permit in a residential zone?
A crime?
A 7 on your side expose?
A San Mateo journal article?
