I have been emailing the tree warden about this area all summer

I spoke to our Forestry Foreman and it wasn't the City that was pruning trees in that area. He will inspect area this afternoon, and I will get back to you.

The Forestry crew removed and chipped brush and branches which were dumped in that area by parties unknown.

Forestry addressed the issue.

Thank you but I just want you to know it was the landscaping company GroundMasters that did the trimming...They mow that grassy sidewalk along the stone wall once a year and they were the ones trimming the overhang. Can't believe the city has no idea who and what they contract for!

This was NOT done! There are still cut branches behind the stone wall along Grove St. especially by Oakridge & Laird Rds.

I agree with pmccarthy. This was not done and I find the lack of communication interdepartmentally as well as the lack of knowledge as to who is responsible for this contract and whether or not the job was completed unacceptable. This was clearly a job contracted out to GroundMasters who come a few times a year to mow and weed wack the strip of land along this historic wall. I watched them! My only regret is not photographing it! The branches were trimmed (and I will add unnecessarily as they were not blocking sight lines or interfering with signs or wires) and then tossed over the wall as the lazy way out of completing the task. These branches have not been chipped and cleaned up as you seem to have been told by someone because I walk down Grove St every morning and unless I'm hallucinating I see dead branches!! I suggest you come see for yourself!
