We've recently updated the traffic signal equipment to reduce the wait time for pedestrians using detectors for the vehicle approach. The signal provides a push button activated exclusive pedestrian phase due to the complex five-leg arrangement. Please use the pedestrian signal to ensure safe crossing of the intersection.

The problem is that the walk signal is too short, particularly for children going to and from Graham & Parks. You oftentimes have to cross two streets at a time at the intersection, and there isn't enough time to do it safely. Even adding 3 seconds to the walk signal would make a difference.
