Description
The entire length of Washington Ave Ext! From the UAlbany entrance on Washingot Ave, through Fuller Road, to 155, and even crossing over to Madison Ave Ext in BOTH directions! Horrible, horrible, horrible! This entire corridor needs to be rebuilt, repaved, new merridians, new turning lanes, lights, certain entrances closed, etc! Enough already, FIX IT RIGHT!

You are absolutely correct! I believe that entire stretch has never been modernized since it was built in the '50's and '60's! I even think it's the original concrete surface!!
That complete stretch is absolutely crumbling! And with the amount of traffic skyrocketing, and people weaving between lanes and careening back and forth (sometimes at almost 70 MPH), it's amazing more people aren't killed on that road because of its antiquated design, and disintegrating road surface!
One interesting (and perhaps helpful) note is that I believe there are some plans in the works to repair Washington Ave. Extension, and I believe that the Fuller Road construction that is currently being done is the beginning of the process... But I won't hold my breath...
Not to mention the utter chaos that occurs at rush hours with all the people leaving all the office complexes that attach to Frontage Road!!! This corridor is an absolute NIGHTMARE!
