Greetings,

I am writing to you regarding the deplorable conditions near the intersection of Webster Street and Taylor Avenue. There are many outstanding SeeClickFix reports regarding this intersection that require your attention.

1. Extensive graffiti. Your employee, identified on SeeClickFix as "Code Enforcement 2" is non responsive. There are dozens of tags on the historic building at 1431 Webster Street. More tags are being added daily.

2. Code violations, including paving over front yard for parking and the resulting broken sidewalk.

3. Broken sidewalks - -including sidewalks repaved with asphalt.

4. Road in poor condition.

5. Storm drains that do not drain.

6. Streets and sidewalks that to not drain due to faulty grade.

7. Continual, ongoing and never ending illegal dumping.

8. The City used to have a parking lot at the corner of Webster and Taylor. The City stopped leasing the lot and that has contributed to the decline.

These matters require your immediate attention. Have you visited the site?

Eighty years ago, reports officially advised against investment in the area because of "Negroes" and "Orientals." It is time to make things right by investing in the area and giving it the attention that it needs and deserves.
