Thank you for reporting. This is not an intentional speed bump but a problem with the existing roadway that we are aware of. There will be work done on Sixth St next year and we are trying to expand the work area to make changes to this intersection to eliminate this issue in the street.

Thank you for the response. I appreciate that the intersection is potentially in the plans to be permanently fixed. However, that does not help in the interim. Perhaps a temporary orange "BUMP" sign could be placed there until the intersection is fixed? I'm sure the DPW has plenty of those signs lying around. Seems like a simple solution in the meantime.
