The left turn arrow is not functioning, sometimes it goes on sometimes it does not. It has been taking around 13-14 minutes just to get through the light. There is literally 50 cars waiting and sometimes the light doesn't go on or it is only on for a few seconds.

Technicians monitored this intersection and observed 10-15 cars in the eastbound left turn. This intersection is part of the SR-201 interchange. Currently there is a SR-201/I-215 ramp closure which has a detour in place that is causing more than usual traffic volumes at the 3200 W Interchange. The North Frontage Rd has more traffic due to the detour than the South Frontage Rd. To handle the volume of detour traffic and to have the 3200 W interchange operate efficiently, other directions are allocated more time to keep traffic moving thru the interchange. This eastbound at the South Frontage Rd has a light volume of traffic and its priority is low.
To help with the queue of cars for the eastbound left turn more time was added to this part of the signal cycle to help additional cars through the intersection each cycle. This will be re-evaluated when the construction is over.
