Thank you for sending in your concern regarding the traffic signals located at Tiffany Street and County Street. Please note that the City did not remove these signals. These signals were completely wiped out as a result of an automobile accident late Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, the accident occurred late in the day on the day before Thanksgiving. This has hampered efforts to complete the repairs.

I am diligently working to get the repairs completed this week - this has been my number one priority since the accident. During my many conversations with our vendor, completion of the repair work by the end of this week appears likely.

The intersection currently has stop signs in place on both Tiffany Street approaches to County Street; the stop signs in place now are only a temporary measure until we can repair this signal. We have also placed a message board at the intersection to alert drivers about the signals and state that they should proceed with caution.
