Description
Suez is replacing the main pipes, hydrants and valves on
Claremount avenue between Randolph and Garfield. The work is subcontracted out. Resident understands the need to have the pipes upgraded and replaced. The problem is that they handed out letters several times saying what time the water would be shut off and instead of waiting for that time they shut the water an hour or more early. This causes a great problem for those who are in the shower trying to prepare to go to work. This is unfair and unconscionable. Neither the subcontrator nor Suez will take responsibility for this. It has happened several times. It should be dealt with by the City. It makes the City, Suez and the subcontractor all look bad and unprofessional.
