I'm pretty sure that Stafford Ave. is maintained by the City of Raleigh, or at least your own City of Raleigh website says so. The restaurant is blocking right of way with a podium and stand.

Yes, the City does maintain Stafford. This issue was submitted as a tree/vegetation visual obstruction, so the staff in that area have closed it out. We are reassigning this to another division to check. Thanks for your patience.

Is there a way to make See, Click, Fix more effective/efficient? Right now, the City of Raleigh answers tend to be rediculous, and I am not just talking about this issue. City employees often times give wrong information.

Autumn, we appreciate the feedback and we regret you feel you have received wrong information. I am an administrator of the system, and I want to address your concerns and explain a little more about how SeeClickFix works. Please know we constantly work to improve the system using the limited resources we have. A part of that has been to automate the SeeClickFix system to some degree so that some work orders are directly routed to staff who can best assist with a problem. This system relies on residents using the system correctly. This particular complaint was entered using the wrong category, so it was closed out by staff prematurely. We rely on residents to choose the correct category SeeClickFix is meant to be a social platform where issues are discussed until they are resolved or the City has provided a final response on an issue. If you ever see an issue that has not been successfully resolved or if the City has not provided a final answer, then please comment on the issue and an administrator of the system will respond. I hope this information is helpful to you. Again, we appreciate your feedback. Please help us keep SeeClickFix an open platform for residents to engage with the City of Raleigh in a productive and courteous way.

Thanks for the response. I do appreciate it. As a SCF user and City of Raleigh tax payer, I suggest that you get rid of the automatic responses. This isn't the only time that they have been ineffective & annoying. Plus, I don't really care if an issue isn't the responsibility no the city to fix. If a resident or visitor uses SCF, it is on the city to get the issue fixed. City employees can just as easily call/contact Duke Energy, NCDOT, etc. on behalf of the person that reported the issue to SCF.

From my experience, The category "OTHER" rarely is acknowledged. I'm giving my 2 cents just like Autumn. I can understand your reasoning by wanting to compartmentalize these; however, 'Closing' an issue because it doesn't fit perfectly in your box is lazy and poor customer service. Thank you.

The valet parkers again are in the street and not in the assigned valet space designated by signage because Tupelo Honey cafe has that side of the street blocked by dumpsters
