Description
There is a gigantic mess of disintegrating plastic, trash, and bulk items behind the High School. The trash, etc. is strewn from directly behind the school's bins to the banks of the Mill River. This mess undoubtedly is polluting one of New Haven's natural treasures: East Rock Park, which is currently being designated an Important Birding Area by Audubon. The school ought to be teaching its students civic and environmental awareness/responsibility by developing an Ecology Corps that regularly helps to clean this area up in an effort to protect wildlife and the overall ecosystem. It is a travesty to leave it like it is. Wilbur Cross High: PlLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!
