If my road was not in such bad shape this blog would be a hoot to say the least but alas our fair city can't fix even the modest of holes in our streets so why are we still paying them? It is a joke how bad our roads have gotten and the city continues to funnel what limited resources we have into new roads and round abouts. NO the city has not fixed my road. I am not sure I want it fixed until I can get some photo's so I will have it for my file.

Like every thing else I have seen the City of Conway do, they half assed it. They widend the road to much and when they laid the asphalt it didn't cover the whole street. My mailbox is almost 4 foot from the edge of the current road which is out of compliance with the post office delivering my mail. My wife called the city engineer 3 times and finally his secretery told her that they were done with our road and weren't going to do anything else about it. Well, if he needs to have his secretery do his job for him then maybe he and the mayor both should quit and we taxpayers could save a little money. The mayor's assistant drove down the road and looked at it but he didn't have the gumption or foresight to stop and talk with anyone who had concerns about the road. A lot of talk about nothing and how can they waste our tax dollars is all this administration has been about from the get go. So here it is after 13yrs and they city still can't get it right. Fix the road like it needs to be. Our only other option is filing a complaint with the attorney generals office or filing a lawsuit against the city, right now we are still studying our options.

The road dept dumped some gravel along the edges of the road and said that was all they were going to do to it.
