Should be made into a one way heading up "happyrock" (ends speeding) with that, allowing behind east side plazas to be reopened and lit up . This will be configured with the roundabouts (maybe figure 8z) I'm working on for organized flow of traffic. I have been writing the precise times and locations of aggravated traffic jams.

This is a busy neighborhood with lots of children and an elementary school behind. Not sure where "Happyrock" is but we do have drivers who do not consider the amount of youth pedestrian traffic when barrelling through. I live on George Street and it has been a consistent issue (How fast do you need to go 10 house lengths??) It's not even a very efficient cut through to Thatcher, so not sure why people feel the need to speed. I desperately want them to repave the street (They put in 4 more God awful new style no character homes on the street and added to the lumps and bumps when tying into the main lines), but I'm worried that it would attract more speeders....

We have on going issues on George street as well. Street full of small children (ages 2-14) and excessive high speeding on our street..upwards of 50-60+ mph on occasion...three house in conjunction with each other have children ranging in ages 2-5...day and night there' usually at least 2-3 cars racing through George street as a cut through (To where? I have no clue - not an efficient one from Pine)...not first (Probably 3rd time) I have mentioned this on seeclickfix...very concerned there will be a fatality since the vehicles begin accelerating as soon as they turn corner off Pine...children only 2-4 houses up from corner. Not to mention the elderly neighbors out walking their dogs... very frightening

Contact your City Councilor to have him put the speed limit signs on the street on the traffic commission agenda.
