Description
Everyday cars run the stop sign on the hill. I've almost been hit several times. A few drivers have said the stop sign and line aren't visible. Also, who do I contact about having a crosswalk and "slow, children playing" sign put up? There are a lot of kids in the neighborhood, it's a small residential street, and people typically fly through at 45 + mph.

Traffic Engineering has received 2 other calls regarding speeding on Hitchborn, we are adding some speed limit signs and "25" legends on the roadway. This work should be installed in the next 2-4 weeks.
We are also taking a look to see if any other intersections could use some additional signage/controls. This portion of the investigation will be completed in another 3-4 weeks.

the intersection did not meet the criteria necessary to install an all-way stop sign, traffic volumes very low and no reported correctable collisions from Jan 2014 to April 2017.
Work orders have been approved to add speed limit signs and "25" pavement legends on Hitchborn between Wilson and Sacramento

The Speed Bump program is currently on hold due to budget issues, staff puts traffic calming on the project list for the Annual Participatory Budget (PB) Process but we have yet to received enough votes to get funding.
We will continue to add this to the PB project list and request enforcement from the Police Traffic Section.
