RRC Assistant Director - Waseem assigned this issue to Construction Code Official

Contractor was notified to stop work due to the excessive demolition and to notify planning, install temp construction fence on front of building and work done by utilities on a public street is not regulated by a after hours permit issued by the office of the construction official.

Thanks to all who helped. Looks like they exceeded their permits and definitely need to go back to Planning Board for amended Site Plan. Also, installed proper construction fencing today but site still needs to be cleared of debris. It's an eyesore!

In order to get all these permits, 2 sets of architectural plans had to be stamped by a licensed NJ architect and then submitted to the Jersey City Building Department for approval. Would also like to see a copy of these plans and who at the building department approved them please. Thank you.
