229 and 235 Dwight Street are maintained by the New Haven slumlords: Off Broadway Inc. A prime example: a massive tree branch has been sitting in the side walk in front of 229 Dwight for the past three weeks. Evidently these owners don't inspect their properties very often or more likely don't care about it except for the $$$ they milk from it. The ridiculously amateurish carpentry "repairs" and the refusal to paint the facade of 229 Dwight are obvious clues.

The code violations of the porch steps at 235 Dwight are another indication of their lack of concern for building codes and for the historic value of this 1840 property.

I walk my dog past this property every day and I am appalled at the blight. I'm even more appalled at the lack of concern from the students that live there.

These people should be fined heavily for their neglect. $$$ is the only thing they understand.
