Description
876 Mercer has introduced "blight" to a wonderful block with 2 houses that are currently for sale for MANY months and at reasonable asking prices too. Today's Albany Times Union has terrific story about Samuel Wells the newly appointed neighborhood stabilization coordinator. This pine hills neighborhood NEEDS stabilizing so it may continue to be called home by many hardworking families of all economic classes. Unusual for the city to have the blending of classes! West of Manning Blvd of course still appeals to people with middle class incomes but other neighborhoods are at risk of losing people who can choose where to live. Please do something about this property. Absentee owner for much too long a time. A beautiful Sears house that should be occupied and enjoyed by a family who cares about maintaining it! Here's a link to anyone who reads this to the terrific T.U. profile of Mr. Wells. GOOD LUCK Mr. WELLS! http://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Albany-native-lands-dream-job-as-city-s-vacant-11257038.php
