The property at 6290 Park Blvd has been cited for a couple of issues, the storage container being one. It was placed their without our knowledge or permitting of it. The owner will have to go through the process of approval or denial and meet the requirements of the Building Code, Zoning Code and Land Development Code.
As for your denial 8 years ago I am not sure what happened their without the address of that property to research. I do know they are looked at as a structure now and must meet all requirements that are needed for any building. 8 years ago I am not sure how the City viewed these containers. This case has been cited like you were it sounds.The owner and his tenant have applied for a variance to keep the container where it is located and then get their permits. They have been in front of the special magistrate and had their case tabled until that time.
