I will admit that the city has responded to some of the complaints at this address but nothing changes. The city officials actually believe the stories that the homeowners tells about someone coming to buy that Firebird that sits parallel to the alley for years on end. That eyesore was supposedly sold but the buyer was waiting for his tax refund. All of the neighbors around him have had to build privacy fences so they can enjoy thier own property without having to view the junkyard.
This junkyard is the reason the house next door isn't selling. And that's not conjecture, this is the feedback everyone that looks at it gives me.

There's a trailer parked on the strip of grass between the curb and sidewalk now. There's udually a motorcycle or an old boat on a trailer parked there.
The vorrect address for this junkyard is 946 1st St SE. But it doesn't matter because nobody does anything about it anyway. Maybe the new councilman for the 3rd Ward will crack down on this.
