By posting a picture of anything that is found you make it very easy for anyone to say it is mine. If you loss something then posting a picture is the proper thing to do. Please stop encouraging people to post a picture of an found item, I thing if you consult anyone in law enforcement they will agree with me.

To XYZ I suggest MYOB. Anyone who knows animals will know immediately when the true owner shows up. We're not talking about a bracelet here - we're trying to save a life.

Your post mention the dog is very friendly so if someone came over and stated it was their dog he may react in a friendly manner and you would have assume it was their dog when it wasn't. If i did not comment on this post you may have still been waiting for animal control to respond to your post. I was the one who stated to call animal control because they do not monitor this site reason being is they do not have internet access. You should be thanking me not telling me to MYOB..
In answer to your question no staff on duty after 5:00 PM how can that be? If they had someone there 24/7 it would not fit their budget.

You post that anyone who knows dogs will know immediately when the true owner shows up. For your information when someone shows up to claim a dog from animal control they request vet records not just the dog's reaction.

I have seen a woman walking a dog similar to this on Alden but I do not know her or where she lives.

Animal Control now has the dog. Should anyone go there, they are going to have prove it is their dog. They will not be able just to go there and say he is my dog.
