Thank you for your review. Today a City of Venice Employee dealing with a grease trap issue in Bay Indies came over to look at the open stormwater hole. They told management that it looked like someone had put a planter on top of the hole, and that it must have been dug by a resident! This is totally incorrect. This matter was reported over 10 days ago for the first time by my neighbor. The hole has an empty planter frame on top with a white flag tied on it to mark the hole so that no one would fall into it. It is completely absurd to think that anyone placed a planter on top of a stormwater hole and that this was dug by a resident. I have reported this back to Maintenance at Bay Indies and the issue still needs to be addressed

Utilities Field Ops Supervisor checked the hole and he said it is not in relation to Utilities. The resident will need handle through their HOA for resolution.
