Silly complaint. I like it that a bit of life has come back to the Square! What's wrong with walking in the street on such a low-traffic stretch? I'm not one of the "kids"--I'm in my 60s. But I like signs of life, and a little messiness, which has been tragically driven from Harvard Square over the last 20 years.

No need to reply if it doesn't bother you, Mary. I prefer not walk in the street and Church is not a low-traffic stretch.
