Description
So all of the new grad students are moving into East Rock, which makes this the perfect time for the city to clean the streets... and post three signs per block. Usually you can tell when it is sweeping day because cars are jammed up on one side of the street and the other side is empty. Not this time! Both sides were full, so the city and towing companies will get a good chunk of change... and by the way, this one was a trap for those of us who are not seasonal residents too. For whatever mysterious reason, the city changed the sweeping schedule from Monday-Tuesday to Tuesday-(wait for it)-Monday. Did it occur to the city that if the motive really is to have the street cleared for sweeping it makes sense to post more signs when new people are moving in? And when the schedule changes? Yes, I am sure it did. This is just offensive.

East Rock Sweeping is always the second Monday and Tuesday of each month. There wasn't any change to the schedule except that the month of August finds the second Monday is August 14 and the second Tuesday of the month is August 8th.
