Description
1628 29th Ave.: Sidewalk chunks rock, are broken, lifted, and I've already witnessed two walking children catch their toes and pitch to the ground in bad falls. CITY OF OAKLAND removed two trees from the grass strip here and adjacent property over 4 years ago; tree's roots lifted and broke apart sidewalk. City of Oakland has opted to let the sidewalk remain a major fall risk. Poorer neighborhoods are low priority, obviously; poorer folks won't sue Oakland if they're hurt from Public Work's dept lack of follow through, right? You removed the trees for a reason. Finish the job.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for contacting the Oakland Call Center, but additional information will be needed before your service request can be processed. Can you please give an accurate address of where the sidewalk is located? The image provided does not correspond with the problem location. This information will help us better process your request. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Address given on SCF is as it known by the US Postal Service: a rental house at 1628 29th Avenue.
If you send out any OPW or Ofc I’d Engineering personnel to this address, surely they’ll turn an ankle on the MOVING & WOBBLY concrete sidewalk and, once in the ground, able to verify the address.
Assuming they’re not suffering from a concussion from the broken sidewalk in front of 1628 & 1622, they’ll be able to ascertain the problem that’s been ignored. Maybe the media will help w/this.
