People will kill over parking spots in Phila.
I have dug out spots where there was 2 foot of snow in Fairmount where parking is rough without snow. As soon as I would leave the spot neighbors would put lawn chairs in my clean spot reserving it for themselves.

Just take the signs away, or call the police to remove it. Misuse of Police property IS a crime. And it looks like this sign was used by the police in another situation, but didn't remove it in time to be stolen. No one has the right to save a spot, no matter where it is. It's first come, first in the parking spot. Plus it must suck clearing out a spot where your car is parked. You dig all the snow out of the spot taking up a lot of time, only to have it taken by someone else once you leave. Hey, that's parking in the city 101............
