Animal control stated they will not take care of this . They said it is a police issue... bird is out all day and currently still squawking

Parrot back out on porch from morning to night daily and is extremely loud

Maybe the parrot will freeze when it gets down in the 30s on friday. Just saying, perhaps it is time for someone to act on this.

Well, animal control says they don’t deal
with parrots to call police. I guess it’s ok to having a screaming parrot out and can still hear it with windows closed and ac running. A shame for the bird, when the temps get cold. Just like their dogs they have abused.

And you probably have all the shopping carts left on your corner. Its a shame that some of our neighbors don't care. we need a Mcalee area neighborhood watch. :(

If the animal is still an issue at night, please call 872-1212 and ask for an officer to come hear the noise and make contact with the owner

In other words: This SeeClickFix app is pretty useless for reporting anything to the police. First it's ignored for months on end and then when someone does look at the items they're all responded to with one of a) call us when it happens so we can witness, b) its been/being taken care of through the normal patrols, or c) we don't deal with this.

SeeClickFix certainly has a use for reporting Non-Criminal issues to the police as well as other departments in the city.
We assist and advise were we can. Unfortunately we (the Police) cannot speak with a homeowner about a loud animal at a time when the animal is not making any noise. Your concern was forwarded to animal control and they have guideline which they are mandated to follow.
