The park is so nice, alas it's not without it's issues. There needs to be traffic 'calming' the way they did at Basset Park and Helen Street School. There is insufficient parking and after the lot fills, parking along Pine Rock on both sides begins. Combine the two and you have cars flying up and down Pine Rock and/or Arch at excessively high rates of speed, but only enough room for one car to safely drive through at a time. There are no safe pedestrian crossings either and with people parking up and down the street, people are walking onto Pine Rock in between the parked cars. A good point about the park, though, is that it's a favorite resting spot for exhausted police cars that need to take a 2-3 hour break while their engine cools.
