Descrição
Traffic going west on Cotillion can only go onto 285 using one lane. There is a left-turn lane that can only turn left. To improve traffic flow the left lane needs to be able to go straight OR turn left. There are 2 lanes on the ramp to 285, and the right lane of Cotillion always goes in to the ramp right lane. So the left lane of Cotillion has a straight shot to go into the left lane of the ramp. Traffic backs up a really long way in the mornings on Cotillion, and it is made worse by only one lane getting through the intersection to go straight.

Thank you for your comment. We are currently working with the Georgia Department of Transportation for improvements to this intersection, which will include changes to the lane assignments

One small thing that could help on Cotillion is earlier signage for the left lane being turn only. Yes there are people who know this already and do it on purpose but there are also people who are caught off guard.
