Description

Be careful crossing this intersection!!! Drivers still don't know how this intersection functions since its redesign. I was at least almost seriously injured this morning at about 8:40 am by a driver turning left onto Somerville Ave from Prospect. I had the walk signal and there was no yield by the driver. They came right at me with no sign of slowing down. If I wasn't able to get out of the way (and I barely did) I would have been run down. This is the third time this has happened in two months.

The last time drivers were running the red light on Washington while turning right onto Somerville Ave. I was crossing ( had the signal) and three separate drivers from both directions started acosting me while trying to cross. Laid on their horn and yelled profanities out of their windows. I had the right of way, but they really didn't care.
