Thanks for the comment Peggy. I've only been a resident homeowner in the Hill for 8+ years, but I've found that developing a relationship with public officials goes a long way. And I'm not talking about getting favors, but having favor. People, agencies and government tend to work WITH people who work WITH them. A lot of times, folks will take the route of complaining and only pointing out the negativity. Yes, there are a lot of things that go wrong or just aren't right, but we have to remember to acknowledge the truth, praise the positive and work for change. We have to be willing to not only point out what is wrong, but provide suggestions and ideas, give input and maybe pitch in where we can. It is very hard for someone to ignore you when you can call them by name, and they know you too! I would like to find a way to work WITH you on resolving some of the issues and concern that you point out in the Hill. I will find a way to contact you. Thanks for your caring!
