It's 3:30 pm and no one has shoveled the snow yet. It's a corner house so we're talking 2 long sidewalks. As the weather warmed some of the snow melted but not all. It's slushy and when the temperatures drop tonight all that unmelted snow is going to freeze along with the water from the bits of snow that did melt. No one will be able to walk down Bleecker Street. The snow on the Columbia Avenue side completely melted and the sidewalk is wet. Tonight's freeze is going to create a sheet of black ice because no de-icer has been laid either.
