Thank you for reporting. In order for us to better serve you, we need more information regarding this issue. Were pieces of concrete dumped into the gutter, or is was the gutter filled with concrete? If you could provide a photo to show what you mean, that would be very helpful.
Providing more specific information helps us address the issue as quickly as possible. Thanks again for helping us by reporting these issues to SeeClickFix.
Someone poured concrete to create a hump to park in the yard where they made a driveway....which is now plugging the gutter because they used a 3in piece of pvc under and it not legit...can you have them do it correctly or have it taken out
Has this been fixed yet. If warning and fining tenants fails to yield results, city employees should destruct the concrete and restore the gutter to working order.
Then bill the homeowner and lien the property if they don’t pay.
It’s not fair for one selfish person to affect the quality of life for the entire neighborhood like this.
It’s a code violation to park on a lawn. No violation if parked on concrete on your own property. I’ve had too many of my vehicles wrecked parking on Tennessee St. due to wreckless drivers.
No it has not been fixed! They layer gravel in what was a yard and no apparently can park there. This house is becoming a issue. So many people live here they ride dirt bikes up and down the street drive like idiots and then this!! The blocking of the gutter but because the house is listed as preforclosure they don’t have to do crap!!! This city don’t enforce none of the rules they claim to have
I thought they meant they plugged a catch basin, but this complaint is regarding the gutter that runs along the curb. It definitely isn’t legal to modify the city street, but this isn’t nearly as bad as I initially thought it was. I wondered why it took over a year to address this.
Well the plastic tube they put under the concrete that is blocking proper water flow is collapsing and yet this was reported OVER a year ago and nothing has been done.. same people live there
COV, here’s a solution:
Send city employees out the physically remove by means of chisel or jackhammer. Restore back to original state. Send bill for labor and any materials used to the property owners. Slap a lean on the property if not paid.
why not just talk to the homeowner directly maybe it would be faster to get corrected
the could easily build a ramp of 4x4 with a hole for water to flow

“Will continue to monitor the issue” .....well nothing has been corrected.
I think there’s a song for this,
🎼You made me promises promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises promises
Why do I believe
All of your promises
🎶
Why did this not get assigned to Code Enforcement, instead of this “monitoring” malarkey? Is Justine keeping this on top of her desk?
