Curtis Creek Drawbridge work is forcing drivers to cut through Glen Burnie, especially on B&A Blvd and Marley Neck Blvd., to bypass the work zone. Recommending adjustments to traffic lights to mitigate lengthy backups.

Good morning David,
Charlie would like to know if you would like us to investigate the signals at:
1) Marley Neck Blvd @ Spencer Rd
2) Marley Neck Blvd @ Tanyard Springs La
These signals are operated by the County and we will be able to look into them. However, if your concern is with B&A Blvd @ Marley Neck Blvd or B&A Blvd @ MD 173, those signals are operated by the State Highway Administration and you can contact them at 410-545-0300 for evaluation.
We look forward to hearing from you, thank you!

Ashley,
Thanks for responding. While I live near Marley Neck Blvd and Spencer Rd., I am experiencing lots of heavy traffic through the B&A corridor from the Beltway all the way down to Mountain Rd. I trust you to evaluate the impact, but from my experience before and after the bridge work began, the changes are all over the Glen Burnie area. The Waze app is routing me through the Glen Burnie town center, and I'm probably not the only one. Focusing only on one signal doesn't improve the overall flow. We're going to be living with this until the bridge work is done.
I guess the short version is, probably a good idea to look at both of those lights. I can contact the state.
-Dave
