Thank you for reporting the issue to the City of Bridgeport. I contacted Lamar Outdoor Advertising to see if the signage belongs to them. They are going to the location now to check into it. I also notified a supervisor in the City’s Public Facilities Department and they will be checking into the matter as well.

Public Facilities went out the same day and secured the area and notified the owner of the mini-mall where the signage is located. Issue is now closed.

Why is the issue closed ?

Is the owner of the mini-mall going to remove it or is it someone else's responsibility to fix it ?

Sooner the pole is removed it will be better for the public waiting at the bus stop to be in safe position .

Further delay could make things hazardous in the daylight .

Please take urgent steps to remove the signage pole before somebody gets hurt .

Make it your top priority to take quick action .

Thank you for reporting the issue to the City of Bridgeport. We located the owner of the strip mall where the sinage pole is located. The owner was notified by the Mayor’s Office via email, to address the issue of the leaning pole as immediately as possible. He responded to our email that the issue is being resolved.
