I was riding my bike east bound on Market street a few minutes before 9am on Wed., June 1st. After passing 37th Street, I signaled that I was moving left in front of a slow moving pick up truck to get into the turn lane. I passed in front of the truck and then nearly had a collision with a car that was illegally attempting to pass the truck in the center lane. I avoided the car and then lost control of my bike causing me to crash. I hit my head (I was wearing a helmet), mostly my chin, banged up my left elbow and knee and right index finger. I went to the emergency room due to hitting my head.
