Description
Asphalt patch completed 12JAN2018 failed to resolve issue and sinkhole has resumed growing.
From previous issue #3990930 reported 31DEC2017
"These are recurring sink holes, and one has recently popped open due to persistent freezing temps. In Fall 2016, this sinkhole was neglected and got so big it ripped the wheel and axle off a car causing a terrible accident. These sinkholes appear to indicate the underside of Main St is washing out from beneath the asphalt and likely require more attention than just an asphalt patch."

Speeding traffic is swerving across the double yellow lines into oncoming speeding traffic, right at the blind bend of West End.

This sinkhole is sunk again.
When vehicles swerve to avoid it they swerve into oncoming traffic on a blind curve.
In the past this "pothole" ripped the wheel and axle off a vehicle and flung it into my yard, missing my house by mere feet.
This was first brought to HoCo SWM attention in 2011, and continues to go neglected.
