The thing about S. Delaware Ave is that it is by far the fastest route to take to reach the Sports Complex in south philly. But make sure you have plenty of fix a flat cans in your vehicle cause your going to need it. The state of street is an embarrassment to the city of philadelphia. It could reduce so much traffic in south philly but people don't utilize it because the street is missing in chunks all over it.

I would need to post a dozen or more pictures in reference to this stretch of roadway. The pothole problem exists on actually both sides of S. Delaware Ave in this vicinity. From Oregon Ave all the way down to Front St. this road is littered with extremely large potholes and even exposed steel railroad tracks where there is no asphalt near or around it to keep from having to bear off to the side or bounce off it and then begin praying you don't have a blowout. This is at speeds of even 5 miles per hour. The same problems this road has also existed on Oregon Ave, from S. Delaware to Front St. but it was completely repaired a year or two ago. But Pattison Ave area has just been completely neglected. If I can get some pictures up I will, but this area is hazardous to ones vehicle and life. Stay tuned...
