Just passed through there on my way home - there are now signs up warning of trail damage and asking cyclists to dismount.

I spoke to the folks at Parks and Rec and the intention is to make repairs as soon as possible, and in the meantime to make notice of the reported condition.

A big issue at this crossing point is the need to have work permitted by the railroad, and apparently that's not as easy as it should be....

not sure, I haven't been out there for a while, but I sent it again today as a reminder to the Manager of Parks Operations (who was originally notified) to see if its been dealt with

I get timely reminders of items that haven't been closed, this was one of them

I'm closing this because I'm tired of getting email reminders. The issue has been open for three years and nothing has been done to make the crossing safe. I was there last week, (July 1), I saw absolutely no improvement. Very disappointed in Parks and Rec and the City of Brantford. Three years folks...
