Pedestrian bridge over ravine is very slippery with temperatures in the mid 30s. Warrants signage and future improvements to the wooden bridge surface to make it less slippery in the wet cold winter months.

Could use one of those freezing temperature signs like you see in mountain passes where part of the sign changes color at lower temperatures.
There is a substantial railing on the bridge for people on foot to use if the surface is slippery.
Experienced bicyclists should anticipate an icy surface on a bridge deck in freezing conditions and would adjust their speed or dismount accordingly.
If you salted the bridge deck, it would drain into the creek below. That might not be so great.
Could have solar panels attached to battery bank (like Tesla Power Wall) and electrically heat the bridge deck to melt ice during freezing conditions. Excess electric production could be returned to the power grid or perhaps used to power a public art installation on the bridge. There is a nice open slope near the bridge with eastern exposure that might make a good location for a substantial solar panel installation.
