The city and CalTrans recently posted several "NO PARKING, STOPING ANY TIME" signs on the West side of Sonoma BL. The vendor who sells fruit-"CHERRIES" out of a large white van has been setting up shop on weekends and has a variety of cars stopped here.. right in the middle of the signs. I know this was reported by someone else last weekend. Back in the day we would call VPD and they would respond. Today it's a CalTrans problem. In fact it is a DUAL JURISDICTION situation as anyone that uncerstands these things is aware. This is called a "Kiss Off" and what do we have to do to get this NO PARKING ANYTIME forced? I am POSITIVE this vendor will be there tomorrow. It's great business [are they licensed?] and no the No Parking isn't being enforced. How long before the big rigs are back.... Depressing.
