This spot is also right on the edge of what becomes a major wind tunnel during weather storms, with gusts blowing over from Grand Ave and beyond, so a sturdy variety of tree would do best here.

Can this stump removal get referred to the parks department/ stump removal? They just acknowledged one on Osborne St, listed as 47 William on SCF. The stump is preventing our tree request from going through.

Originally written to request a tree from URI - we've missed two cycles of planting because of the existing stump. URI cannot help and asks the neighbors to be in touch once they know when the stump will be removed. When will the stump be removed?
