Thank you. Following another person's suggestion, I am calling Community Services Division of PD and ask that night watch Commander please enforce regulations. Again, wish there was a safe location tp where people can rel-locate for a night.
You mean something like the Elk’s Lodge over on Redwood Parkway? Where people are respectful and handle the waste they generate?
A Homeless RV Park? Novel idea, but too many logistic problems, considering 90% are unregistered or are not roadworthy.
No solutions; just trying to come up with some place to refer people who sleep in their vehicles. I just spoke with Pam at Community Services Division. Asked her to pass on request to PD to increase night patrols. She reiterated to call 911 after 5 PM, and sadly said that the more 911 calls they get, the more likely something will happen. Hope other concerned people will do same. You have good input.
Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.
Thanks for reporting! Our staff responsible for removing, sorting, and dumping all illegal dumping in Vallejo has picked up the illegal dumping reported at this location. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this issue, please call the Maintenance Division at 707-648-5235. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!
