These signs are brand new. Just took affect today. Majority of the boats the 30 homeowners (out of 1300 homehowners) are complaining about was moved over the last two days. There is 5 left. Neighborhood is petty. They are of no saftey concern the road is over 40ft wide. Pleanty of space for one sided parking. Dont waste AACPD time on something like checking if vehicles moved for 2 hours a day.
Part of the AACPDs job is enforcing things like this. Changing the status to closed because you don't agree with the county decision to put them up is petty.
Want to know why I closed it? I met with the officer who showed up who also stated the same thing. It's two hours and not a safety hazard and new signs. If it was a safety hazard there would be no parking what so ever.
Get over it. The boats sucked and promises were made to people who bought in this neighborhood that these would leave when the road was turned over to AACO. This has been on the HOAs agenda for years. No one wants these eyesores. You are a minority.
First and foremost this is not the correct forum or platform for a longstanding neighborhood dispute about parking.
This will be added to the rotations of post officer's just like every other complaint. We cannot respond out everyday during the 2 hour window and check to see if everyone is in compliance. We will do our best to keep tabs on this as time progresses.
