  Periodic reminder to always confirm if issue is actually resolved when City of Oakland Call Center closes it. They've fraudulently closed hundreds of issues on this site without actually resolving them. Always double check to make sure they're doing their job!   Yes, how do residents know that the city of Oakland painted it and not just a neighbor decided to mark it red? For example in San Francisco all of the red, yellow, green curbside say SFMTA DPT OR MTA..which is a marker saying that the city painted it and that it will be enforced by the city.
