Abandonded Vehicle: Has been in the alleyway between East Slocum and East Vernon Road (entering from either Boyer Street or E Slocum Street on the 400 block) for about one to one-and-a-half years. The vehicle is a mid- to late-90's Dodge Stratus with no plates, all flat tires. The man who owns the house on Slocum will not remove it and says it is his son's car, who is in jail. The vehicle presents an unsafe condition, as residents on E Vernon Rd cannot even exit their garage-ways (because the care is in the way), and drivers on the alleyway cannot get by the vehicle, particularly when it is snowing. Most importantly, fire trucks will not be able to navigate the alley in case of a fire.
