The person who lives there, her husband has been deployed to Afghanistan. She is trying to maintain the property. So Michael, if you want to do a service for our service man and his wife, by all means help with the yard, as for the fence, I believe you are out of line there. That fence has been there since I lived in the area myself....since 2004 with the previous occupant. Honestly, I know you don't want to hurt our service men who are defending your right to report stuff like this.

John. Thanks for your insight however it appears that it is basic neglect. This “woman” has a frequent visitor with a sport BMW. I would think that this male friend might help with the upkeep. I have all due respect for our service men and women. I’m referring to basic negligence of property, and dilapidated fence. We all love living in St Pete and count on them to enforce City codes.

No doubt about it, but also you have to take into account that it has been raining so much that even I have a hard time keeping up with my own grass. I would suggest that we help this person then to cause her more despair. As far as the fence is concerned, there is nothing to be done with that. There are other properties out there in worse shape then this. That would be nice that this male friend would help that comes over with a BMW, but it is not up to us to tell this frequent visitor what he or she does.

John. Please keep this ticket open. As you state, there are worse properties in the neighborhood. However we can tackle one at a time.

As a homeowner I am sure you are just as concerned about your property values. As such, maintaining the appearance of the neighborhood through the city code enforcement is one of the better tools. That’s why we pay taxes.

It sounds like you may know the occupant. If you do, why not say something to her rather than you and I going back and forth.

May I ask are you a neighbor voicing his opinion or are you part of the code enforcement?

PS. The BMW appears to be a resident, not just a visitor. I may have been mistaken about the visitor part.

I appreciate your concern but I do believe you have the wrong property this properties listed in a males name not in the military.
I hope this eases this situation.
There is no female owner of this property.
Again but due respect I would just like a nice well-kept neighborhood keep our property values.

John it concerns me your involvement not sure if this is just open to the public opinion and that’s what you doing or if you have a interest other than concerned neighbor that lives on your side of town.
I grow concerned with my safety in reporting this issue and wish that I was anonymous.
I’m writing this so that everyone sees the emails back-and-forth are aware of the situation and your involvement.
Again all I am trying to do is keep the property values and the neighborhood looking nice.
