Sorry to report that it has NOT been picked up. Even more is scattered around the container that has capped out. Please fix. I’m sure that critters are not helping the problem.

Sanitation will NOT pick up any container that is not clear of any other containers or debris. Read the instructions. (Nobody does) People also put plastic bags in Recycle containers as well in spite of instructions.

Harpo is correct. I would be surprised if that ever got picked up with all those plastic bags in it. It probably also contains styrofoam, which is not recyclable in our system either. Putting plastic bags and other non-recyclables in the recycle system jams the machinery and causes it to shut down. It's hard to understand why people don't read the instructions.

If the city will not pick up, who does? It seems to me that the city needs to get to the responsible owner, which in this case is probably the owner of the apartments immediately north of the recycle container. Not sure why a multiple family residence received one container. One way or the other, the sanitations dept has to deal with this mess. It is certainly NOT sanitary!
