St Pete is a tree city. we need more trees not less. Climate change, cooling of our streets and city. why dont we complain about not enough trees or too much trimming. i keep seeing street trees with branches cut that are at least 10 to 12 feet above the sidewalk. why does the city waste time on cutting these trees instead of planting MORE trees in city right of way? we need trees!

Granted, we love our trees. They should however be trimmed so that cars have needed view of oncoming traffic. No need to take tree out, just remove a few lower limbs to increase visibility for safety's sake.
