City Hall – DR assigned this issue to Animal Commission

The are out there all thru out the day and in the short time of that being open I only seen the animal control drive or public works thru and they say NOTHING. They sit and watch people let their dogs off the leash and then ask for people to keep the gates closed so there dog doesn't run in the street. What about the people whom may be afraid of dogs? What about that aggressive owner that gets in your face because they feel there dog should be allowed to do whatever. Please look into this matter

I agree, and the grassy off leash area at Fort Washington is a short walk away.

The Cambridge Animal Commission patrols the Tudor Street dog park and abutting soccer filed consistently. We enforce the dog park laws and site anyone with an off-leash dog in the soccer field. There are over 90 open spaces in Cambridge that the Animal Commission patrols and enforces the leash law. If there is a specific time that you see people off leash in the soccer field, please call our office so we can target that area at that time. You may also call when a dog owner is presently in violation of the leash law and the Animal Commission will respond as soon as they possibly can. Well I have only see them once and if they do they never enforce the off-leash rule, this happens everyday and is happening right now. I work in one of the office buildings right across the street from the park and we watch this all day long. But now we will call when we see this, which means we will be calling multiple times a day until this gets fixed
